Pesach will soon be approaching and Project Reconnect in partnership with NAASE (North American Association of Synagogue Executives), Women's League For Conservative Judaism and KOACH, the USCJ College Outreach Project, are working together to once again help college students, unaffiliated young adults and those of our alumni in need find a place to go for a Pesach seder.
Project Reconnect's alumni families in Israel and members of Masorti synagogues in Israel, Europe, Mexico, South America and the Czech Republic are again participating in Kol Dichfin during this Pesach and are offering their homes and/or synagogues to visiting North Americans, as well as to students studying abroad.
Below, you will find a list of congregations participating in Kol Dichfin. Information is connected to each of the synagogues listed letting you know if the synagogue is offering a seder in congregants' homes, a seat at a community seder, or both.
We are very proud and most grateful that so many of our Conservative congregations in North America, as well as our Masorti congregations in Israel, Europe, the Czech Republic, South America and Mexico have found room in their synagogues and their homes for fellow Conservative Jews since the inception of the first Project Reconnect -NAASE joint initiative, Come Home For The Holidays. We feel blessed in the added partnership of Women's League and KOACH in these programs. As we continue to grow and with the ongoing support of our alumni and friends, it is our hope that we shall one day see all of our Conservative congregations throughout the world join us in our ongoing efforts to promote acts of kindness and caring about one another, gemilut hasadim.
As the Hagaddah tells us, Kol dichfin -- All who are hungry, let them come and eat.... We shall continue to make every effort in bringing pride, heart, spirit and neshama to our movement, as we take heed of those words this Pesach!
If you don't see a synagogue near you on the list, don't give up. Check this site often; the list of participating congregations grows daily. When you get in touch with a synagogue, please mention that you saw it listed on the Project Reconnect website.
Project Reconnect is the official alumni association of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism.

If you find that the Community Seder and Host Home fields are blank, it means that we have not been apprised of the status of the individual congregation in those areas. We suggest that you call or email the contact person for more information. Further assistance needed or questions about the Kol Dichfin program should be sent to reconnect@uscj.org.
